Jeffrey Steiner, CPA
Jeff grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated from Ohio State University in 1978 receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Soon after graduation Jeff moved to Florida and worked as a staff accountant in the Miami office of Haskins & Sells, a national accounting firm. In 1979, he received his Florida CPA license and joined Friedman and Goldstein in Plantation. With a growing and varied client base, he established his own company Steiner and Company, P.A., serving businesses and individual accounts across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has testified in court as a professional expert focused on assets, liabilities, revenues, expenses and cash flow of corporations, partnerships and individuals.
Jeff has had long standing partnerships as part of his continued growth and experience and has had many of his local and international clients for decades.
Personal and Community Service
Jeff and his wife Nancy, who is a Registered Nurse, have 5 grown children, 3 grandchildren, and two dogs. They lived in Delray Beach for 10 years and now reside in Boynton. Jeff continues to maintain his office in Pompano Beach, which affords him the opportunity to still work with his long-standing clients in both Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.
In June 2000, Jeff helped found the Pharos Group LLC D/B/A, Lifeskills South Florida. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and was the Developer’s Representative for the construction of its new 5 million dollar facility. This facility and treatment program is designed for individuals with addictions and mental health issues and was recently purchased by a national investment firm.
Jeff and Nancy founded the Sanctuary in Delray Beach in 2005, which is a high-end transitional living facility for men and women in recovery. It was sold to the Crossroads Antigua Foundation, which was founded by Eric Clapton.
Jeff has been active in the city of Delray, serving as a Board Member for the Drug Task Force, as well as serving on various committees. He served as the president of the Estuary Home Owners Association, where he also served on their Board of Directors.
